From September 13 to 17, 2021, the "2021 China International Meat Industry Week" co-sponsored by the China Meat Association (CMA) and the World Meat Organization (IMS) will be held in Qingdao World Expo City.


   The six themed activities of this meat industry week, including conferences, forums, exhibitions, trade docking, competitive competitions, honors, and technology promotion, help companies explore markets, expand trade, and promote industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality development.


  Development conference, focusing on hot spots


  At the meat industry development conference, the focus was on the sustainable development of the meat industry and the nutrition, health and safety of the meat food supply under the prevention and control of major animal diseases and the new crown pneumonia epidemic.


During the conference, the China Meat Association and the National Meat Association of Uruguay signed a strategic cooperation agreement; signed agreements with the governments of Shandong and Inner Mongolia for high-quality development cooperation in the meat industry; held the "China Meat Food Safety Credit System Construction" A series of important signing and licensing activities such as the "Demonstration Unit" licensing ceremony.


  Exhibition, unprecedented scale


The "Nineteenth China International Meat Industry Exhibition" will be held on September 15-17, with an exhibition area of nearly 70,000 square meters. More than 1,000 meat companies from home and abroad will showcase the latest fresh and prepared meat products. , Quick-frozen meat products, deep-processed meat products, leisure meat products, slaughter equipment, processing equipment, packaging equipment, packaging materials, cold chain logistics equipment, food ingredients and production and processing supporting facilities and equipment. Tens of thousands of industry and enterprise colleagues at the exhibition site visited and negotiated to build a production and sales exchange and cooperation platform.


   This meat industry week is actively co-organized by more than ten international meat institutions and organizations such as the French Pig Federation, the Australian Meat and Livestock Association, and the Irish Food Authority, as well as the enthusiastic support of local governments, local associations and many companies. A total of 6 forums and seminars were held during the exhibition, including: China-Australia Red Meat Industry Sustainability Seminar, China-Danish Meat Sustainability Seminar, and U.S. Meat hosted by the U.S. Embassy’s Agriculture and Farm Trade Office Sustainable Development Seminar; Animal Food Hygiene Inspection and Quarantine Technology Forum jointly organized by China Meat Association and China Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Society Veterinary Food Hygiene Branch; China Meat Food Machinery Innovation Development Forum organized by National Livestock and Poultry Slaughter Quality Standard Innovation Center ; The meat cold chain logistics engineering innovation and development forum sponsored by China Meat Association and specially supported by Huashang International Engineering Co., Ltd.
